Luna, Vortexian Goddess of Darkness, Rain and Death.

"As of now, the Age of Luna has come and all shall know her mercy and find shelter and safety in her shadows, feed on her gift of water and ultimatly lie in her merciful arms."
- Mara Scorpio, Chosen and A'zal of Luna, 1000 Vtx; after the battle with Baelsammon

Luna, the Goddess of Darkness, Rain and Death, is the sister of Scorch, the God of Light, Life and Draught. Luna is the Goddess that protects you and gives you shadows to hide in when you're hunted and afraid, gives you water and life when you're thirsty, and takes you in her loving embrace when the last grains of sand have fallen down the hourglass that is your life in the mortal realm. Luna frowns upon the undead, and has pity on all who have become slaves to a dark necromantic master. A great service to Luna would be to put to rest every undead you know.

The Goddess Luna will be the main God of the Vortex for the next 1000 years, because of the great victory the A'zal a Luna, Mara Sorpio, had last year in the Game of the Gods.

In that game, Mara Scorpio competed with other A'zals for the honor to battle the power-hungry Bael'sammon, and she won that honor. In the climax of the last evening of the Summoning '00 she performed a great ritual, backed up by the offerings and thoughts of over three hundred brave Vortexians, and she killed Bael'sammon, although in a way no-one would have ever suspected.

At first Bael'sammon offered her power and riches beyond understanding, and when Mara refused he offered to make her greatest wish come true... the eternal rest of all undead. At that instant all undead in the Vortex found their everlasting rest. Mara refused however, as she saw that Bael'sammon only acted in his own interest, and then she stepped up to him... and kissed him. With the power of Luna and and hundreds of faithful Vortexians, she gave him the Love of Luna, and Mara Scorpion sent Bael'Sammon to his final resting place in the arms of Luna. There, he will be tried and punished as Luna sees fit.

In the Vortex, several groups of Luna-fanaticals have already sprung up. Some are true to the wishes of the Goddess, and serve Her and the A'zal a Luna. Others are just troublemakers in the name of Luna, but they will be dealt with sooner or later.

The A'zal does not forgive...
